With that forward talent there should be nonissue. Marner with giveaways and plays oh so soft, Tavares useless and also a giveaway machine, Nylander good when he has lots of room, only Matthews is a guy that will get dirty to create or keep a chance alive.
Bertuzzi and Domi barely there Jarnkrok has the longest scoring streak on the Leafs now at 4 games, goes to show the offense the Leafs have.
Surprising that Brad’s UFA signings are not working out

Bertuzzi - 13 games, 4 points.
Max Domi - 13 games 6 points
klingberg - 13 games minus 8
Reaves - 13 games zero points

I am surprised how well the Kings are playing the Knights. Talbot working on the shutout and the Kings have two power play goals.

Karlsson scores to make it 3-1 Kings with five minutes left in regulation time.

You don't see premature substitution called in the NHL very often.

Maybe Flames pro scouts aren't terrible after all and it was just the guy pulling the trigger on guys he wanted? I get the feeling that Treliving made a lot of his own calls when it came to trades and Conroy kind of alluded to. I think he's a smart guy but he's heavily rooted in the old hockey culture.

Pro scout is definitely a problem but the bigger problem is the wizard like to spend money on retirement contracts. He thinks it’s free. The percentage of successful retirement contract is pretty low. You don’t build your team with UFAs

If i was in charge, I’d never sign a contract that goes past the age of 32 ever again. Sign em young and long, and ship em out when they hit 27-30 for assets to keep the youth coming in.
