Plus the Rangers actually had Dryden Hunt last year... They waived him and COlorado picked him up. Colorado traded him to Toronto, who waived him again... and he cleared.

^^ They interviewed the Wranglers head coach on Flames Talk yesterday and while he never gave a definitive statement he made it sound like Coronato would there for at least a few weeks.

I have nothing against Hunt, I cant really pinpoint a moment where I thought he egregiously screwed up, but I can say I have been more than a little surprised at his ice time...and powerplay time.

I always felt like Hunt skated hard trying not to look lost. I wasn’t impressed with his play. I did like his hustle.

I'll say that I cannot and will not complain about Hunt's effort. He looked like he gave it his all every time.
His 'all' just isnt enough.
Example: Coleman. That is a Journeyman Professional with skill and work ethic. Coleman gives it his all every night and sometimes more. Hunt is just not there.

This is par for the course for Hunt. He seems make it on teams out of camp or gets a quick call up, but is then back in the minors before the new year.
Not a bad depth guy to have in the system though.

Makes sense, Zohorna is playing in the NHL and has 4 points in 7 games and Hunt solidifies the AHL team.

Shoot sorry, got my ex Rangers mixed up. It was Kevin Rooney for Blais, not Hunt, my apologies. But I know that deal was in place and Tre backed out. Sorry for the mixup on the name.
