Not that I want the vets to be super hard on kids that make a mistake, but is the right message always "no problem"? Isn't that Kadri's issue lately is that he doesn't seem to care when he ####s up?
Depends on what it is. Glaringly obvious mistake and a rookie already knows then saying we'll do better next time is fine. Lazy play that is bad then it is an issue to shrug your shoulders and move on

Really like that line lately, all 3 of them have looked good
Nice to finally find a fit for Yegor that isn’t 4C. Smooth skater, good with the puck but zero grit, which Kadri compensates for. Zary does not look interested in being sent down.

It's kinda like having an awful group in a team V team video game. You can either say "hey idiots, do this" and escalate the hostility, or accept that your team sucks and try to encourage them. Sometimes it works.
I wonder if anyone knows why the Flames sent Zary, DeSimone, and Pospisil down for a day(Nov 5th), only to be recalled the next(Nov 6th). Since the team is using LTIR anyways, it doesn't seem to increase the available cap space.
Was it only done to save a couple of thousands by having the young guys in the minors? or is there another reason, maybe something to do with a bonuses cap-hit that transfers over to the next year when you're using LTIR.
Cotton Hill : I think I'll name him Hank. I always wanted a son named Hank.
Hank Hill: Dad, MY name is Hank.
Cotton Hill : Then we'll call him "G.H." for "Good Hank!"

Waivers. A player can only spend 30 days or 10 games on the NHL roster before requiring waivers again. Sending them down bought them another day.
At least, that applies to DeSimone and Pospisil. Zary doesn't require waivers, so it wouldn't have made a difference for him.
It's possible that taking them off the roster may have dropped the team below the cap for the day, which would have gave them a bit of breathing room for the future, but I don't know what the daily calculation for that would have been.
