I thought the Flames looked pretty good against Dallas. Maybe they are coming out of a bad streak and looking to go on a winning streak. 3-1 Flames.

Keep cycling through Wranglers.
1. It’s entertaining
2. It helps their development
3. It’ll give Conroy better intel on what we have and don’t have in the system
4. Better clarity on who obviously just doesn’t have what it’ll take to make the NHL full time
5. You never know who it just clicks for and takes a job and keeps it
6. In a fork in the road year, you need to have some idea what to target if you’re trading vets for youth

Young guys score and play well, but push for the rebuild.

8-7 Kraken. 2 goals each for Zary and Pospisil!

Huberdeau, Kadri, Lindholm. Those are the 3 that are either going to get this team to the playoffs or a high draft pick. So far all 3 have been extremely underwhelming. Hope tonight they start to figure it out.
As long as it's not the 16th pick again, I'm cool with either result.

Can we send Iggy into the Dressing Room to clearly convey to these bums how incredibly embarrassing they've been recently?

Once the game is on I always cheer for a win. But I have the assurance of a coaching staff with little creativity plus the unfortunate fact that those guys as your three best players is a middling group in this league compared to other teams as the backstop that usually ends up with the Flames losing. Every game feels like a win-win for me that way. My only fear is this team trying to add to make this team better this year.

The Kraken are fast. It will be interesting to see if the Flames can handle it.

I'm already dreading the Narrator from Arrested Development.

"They could not."

Looking forward to a competitive game in a great building.

Excited to see young Pospisil’s debut. Intriguing player.

Leafs the early game (currently tied as usual) so expect a 12 round shootout, postgame and cutting to the Flames 1/3 way through the 1st.

I don’t love the 2 Dmen on PP1 strategy.

Andersson and Weegar should be the only dmen on each unit.

Also, the obsession with Hanifin on the PP is frustrating. He had 8 powerplay points last year and he had stretches on the top unit.

If they put in the effort they did in the Dallas game, I'm happy.
