I have to admit I was worried losing McD to injury for a few weeks or a month might propel the Greasers to find some internal chemistry, they might lose but it would be better for the team long term, the best thing that ever happened to the Canucks in the Sedin era was Daniel getting injured as it forced the whole team to adjust and that set them up for their cup run, watching the Oilers tank night after night with their whole playing core in does the opposite, just installs that resigned to lose attitude in their heads and makes the team worse than their collective parts
