He has a bit of Baertschi-itis at the moment - being on thew wrong side of the puck on forechecks, etc. But he can get past that. I could see him meshing with Zary.

He had two games in a row without a shot. 2 points in 10 games, minus 9. It’s worth keeping an eye on. 20 year olds generally have a lot to learn about pro hockey and it’s OK if it happens in the A.

He doesn’t look out of place but that’s a low bar. Has he lost some confidence? I don’t know how to tell that from my TV.

I wasn't able to watch the game but I heard Zary had quite the dangle in the third period. Is there a clip of it somewhere?

I honestly thought it was the Flames best game of the season...especially when you consider the opponent

I completely agree.

It was the best example of the Flames actually competing all season. Everyone was skating harder, and there seemed to be some urgency in their actions.

Coronato should be riding the wing with Backlund and Coleman. Not Hunt.

I haven't seen all the games. But I was at the rink - periods 1 and 3 were great. Period 2 was a complete tire fire. They were booed it was so bad.

I swear to god I can't even follow what point it is you are trying to make.

Suggesting he is a waiver loss candidate, 11 games into his career, is non sensical.
You and your little gang of supporters can go look at the thread where Coronato was sent down. Pretty much 100% agree with me that he needed to be in the AHL.

So what?

How does that change any of the silly points you made in the original post that Jiri correctly pointed out were stupid?

Comparing him to guys how learned to play hockey in the AHL.

There are not at lot 13th overall picks that move straight to the NHL in D+2.

Maybe dominating in the AHL for 30 games will get him ready to be more than NHL filler.

Oh that’s what your point was?
Boy you took a convoluted way to get there
