I would say that Backlund is more of a PR person than Zadorov is, which is one of the reasons Backs is Captain.

That whole thing is a pet peeve of mine. The people who are usually allowed to speak are the ones who will sacrifice the message just to make sure no one gets hurt receiving it. In my mind, the world would be decades ahead of where it is now if "PR" was never a thing. I mean, the concept of "Public Relations" is a good one at its core... but unfortunately the purpose of it got usurped a long time ago to care more about protecting message deliverers and covering up errors than the messages themselves and just being honest.

I think its overblown and its no surprise its Salam running with this narrative and having a story ready to go on the TSN webpage.

The team needs to win some games as it finds its way, and Markstrom and Vladar are sewering our chances with poor goals allowed.

We have to win a few 2-1 or 3-1 with the empty which should get the confidence up and the team gelling.

Its time to inject Wolf into the team along with Zary and Poirer.

The Flames scored 2 goals against Detroit and 1 against NYR.

Wolf isn’t holding Detroit to 1 or 2 with the giveaways and breakdowns. Cross crease 2 on 1 with no backcheck where the guy puts it top corner under the bar. Gotta be realistic.

(Just realized I said ‘no offence’. It works in two ways. They really didn’t make Reimer make any tough saves)

And he isn’t pitching a shutout against the NYR chances either. Even the squeaker getting through Marky isn’t good, but it stopped short of the line and the Flames back checker lost the race for that puck

The team has to clean up a lot before any goalie helps anything. You just can’t have bad turnovers and allow clear odd man rushes and hope your prospect goalie bails you out

As much as people are fantasizing about Wolf, drop him in and no results change. He isn’t invincible. He let in 6 in the AHL game last Saturday

Gotta be realistic about what’s happening on the ice. It ain’t pretty

James fled into a sewer tunnel as the queen and her ladies quickly replaced the floorboards to hide his location. Catherine sprang to the door and placed her arm through the staples to bar the assassins' entrance. However, they forced the door open anyway, breaking Catherine's arm, and discovered and killed the King.

Just a fun fact to lighten the mood a bit after the last few games….
