You almost need a defensively smart (leaning F3) guy that goes to the net hard to cash in on rebounds and screens.
That's kinda the problem with the entire roster though. 22 guys that all need to play with the right linemates. Honestly not trying to harp on anything here, but we lost our only guys that were capable of doing anything on their own when Johnny and Chucky left.

I do see glimpses of it in Coronato though, which is heartening.

But one of the biggest complaints coming out of the Edmonton series was their inability to do something.

I thought they were both elite complimentary players heading into that season.

I think Tkachuk has proven me wrong last season.

But overall I agree ... Calgary doesn't have the prime forward to carry the mail ... solid secondary pieces through the roster.

It seems like Kadri likes the puck on his stick, so when he's in possession of the puck he's not looking for teammates, he's looking to make a play on his own.
