He did make some odd signings. Some of these guys are made out to be gods which is a little much to begin with, but who knows if ownership needed results faster and wanted some of these to "accelerate" the rebuild. Much like Burke promised when he joined the Leafs. Surely not a good move.

Is there such a thing called "SC loss hangover"?  Florida looks really good. I haven't noticed that much Samoskevich but when I do, he looks really good. Kind of like Coronato with the Flames, what do you think?

Wheels and very good skill. Smaller guy, so gets bumped out of plays, but works hard and battles for pucks. I've been waiting for a pure skill guy to come up in Florida's system for a while. Looks like he's it.

He's actually listed bigger than Coronato. Hit a crossbar and made some plays, looked like a rookie but stuff standing out with some really good skill plays occasionally.
