I have no clue how in today's world, people like these are hired to spend a lot of time with kids in a position of power. I do think that adults who aren't good people should probably not have jobs working closely with kids. At least the times are changing, so these people seem to be weeded out more and more now, but I am sure there are still plenty of terrible people left in the game. I know there are definitely lots of really awesome people too, but FFS these terrible ones need to go.

Reffing minor hockey I'd say the coaches are 95% good to deal with. It's definitely improved since I played, but Christ those 5% are a pain to deal with. They ruin it for everyone.

There is a black kid on the team. Turner McIntyre (probably Ossie's older bro) . Also a black kid on the Seattle team they played Saturday, Mekai Sanders.
