Maybe. Ovi plays an active, ongoing role in the propaganda machine.

So long as we don’t flirt with a 5 mill AAV I’d be happy to see Zad patrolling the blue line and bringing the presence he brings. So happy to see he has great values, morales and is outspoken about the ongoing war, this man realizes his position and that he can be a voice of strength and reason and I wish there were more prominent Russians in the game of the NHL who were willing to take the same stance publicly. Go Zad.

Is there anywhere to buy these things? I would get a Big Z pride jersey in a heartbeat.

I would imagine it's similar to having family who are lost to Q or hardcore MAGA supporters. You know they are being brainwashed, but you still love them. Yet you yourself cannot continue going on with the charade. At some point the curtain has to be pulled back and enough is enough. How many people in the US and elsewhere have "lost" their families to those cults? I have an uncle who has no qualms in advertising his love for trump and he is against aid to Ukraine. I feel like we are a few sentences away from me smacking the #### out of him at our family events. Love the guy, but he is a ####ing moron for buying into it.

I know there are probably a bunch of russians in the league who might not support the war, but for the family reason's can't speak out. I can understand that. But often the easier explanation is the correct one, and there are also a huge number (more than most people are willing to admit) who DO support it. I've always wondered what their teammates think of them. For sure the topic comes up, so I wonder how they react to knowing their linemate support genocide. Maybe some no-politics policies in those locker rooms? Who knows.

They auctioned the jerseys off, they're not usually available for retail.

Even so, they can still be used for blackmail/manipulation.

Some things are bigger than hockey.

I’ve always liked Zadorov and the snarl he brings to the blue line, but this just shows that not only is he smart, he’s a quality human being who cares about doing the right thing. These are the guys who make you proud they’re on your team.

I want Z extended for all the right reasons.
Guy is a good human, adopted kids, says he wants to give all kids a chance at a good life.
Now basically put his life on the line speaking against Russia (no chance he can ever go back now) and says all the right things.

He plays hard every night, puts the team first and is likely our toughest guy now with Lucic gone.

Extend this man, he’s great for the team, community and city imo.

Without a doubt my favourite player on the team. Class all around. Lots of people and even posters on here make excuses for Russian athletes not speaking up and specifically not wearing the gay pride warm up jersey. Zadorov does it all when he easily could stay quiet like the rest. What a beauty

Big ups for Zadorov. Huge human with a huge heart and pretty decent hockey player too. I hope we re-sign him.

Prior to this comments my feelings on Zadorov have changed significantly.

He gives it all on the ice every game and even if it leads to mistakes you can never say he takes a shift off.

Guy sucks at fighting but still steps up.

But outside being a good hockey player he is a really good dude and hilarious. Seems like a great guy to have on your team.

I would be happy if remained a Flame after this year.

Listening to his interview this morning he's all but confirmed he wont be able to go back until Putin is out of power (good luck).

Said it sucks because his parents are there, but he's come to terms with it because they are on the other side of it meaning pro-Russia and think nothing wrong is being done.

Crazy.

That's rough. It makes his speaking out even more brave of him.
