We stopped at Macleod’s restaurant and the 5-10 people we talked with seemed very friendly. The place was full, two groups asked if we wanted to share their table, but we ended up sitting at the bar and had a good time small talking with people.

We presented as a heterosexual couple, would the reception have been the same if we presented differently? Maybe it is part of the privileges I enjoy, but am only vaguely aware of.
