And the acting outside of Kiefer is close to atrocious, Kim Bauer anyone?
Elisha Cuthbert wasnt even on the show last season.

Beyond that glaring example though...

Willam Devane is a terrific actor.

Kimberly Jayne Raver is a very accomplished actress.

Dennis Haysbert is also a nice compliment to the cast.

It goes beyond one example and your incessant need to tell eveyone how it is, and not what your opinion might be.

Get bent.

Noticed there are a lot of 24 and Lost fans here, rightfully so as they are both great shows

If any of you haven't yet you should check out Alias. Its a CIA show as well, not really like 24 though. Its a lot less plausible but a lot cooler gadgets and more action, continous storylines and cliffhangers so you NEED to watch the next episode/season. I would say that 24 is probably the better show but Alias is more entertainment.

Its also produced by J.J. Abrams the same guy that produces Lost so it has similar WTF? moments and millions of questions that when answered only seem to produce more questions and mystery.

If you do start watching it make sure you start at the beginning of season 1 because any episode is bound to have spoiler and/or might not have the same affect if you dont' know the history.

Did I mention Jennifer Garner is super hot, and is always changing into cool crazy ass costumes often involving lingerie?

I love all 3 shows but I get the most excited for Alias.

Haha! That really cracked me up! I don't watch too much TV unless the Save-Ums and Thomas the Tank Engine count.

I love 24. My wife and I have watched it from the beginning. I HATE Lost with a passion, but I understand why people like it. My favourite show right now is My Name is Earl.

Try reading.

I didn't say this is crap because I say it is. I said this is crap and here's why. It sounds like YOU have the problem with other people's opinions not the other way around.

I posted a brief but descriptive account of why 24 has terrible writing and you counter with personal attacks, nice job troll. Instead you should have pointed out when and where 24 has good writing, but alas, you can't because either you are incapable of assessing good writing or that 24 doesn't have good writing.

I never said people weren't allowed to have opinions, I said so myself that I watched and enjoyed the show. But that doesn't mean that technically, the show is terrible in some areas, namely writing. That lends credence to my assertion that the show can be entertaining but not should not be considered a good show if it doesn't have good writing.

So who should get bent?

Well, tonight I just finished the final three episodes of the upcoming half season 2 of Battlestar (via DVD from Amazon in the USA) and all I gotta say is HOLY SHEEIITT but that is wonderful television.

There are some episodes in season two that aren't up to the quality of season one but they certainly finish with a bang. Lucy Lawless's appearance is terrific.

And the promo for the coming 10 episodes to wind up the season is pretty intriguing. Love those space operas. You'll really have no idea where all this is going . . . . but you'll want to know.

Anyway, off my soapbox for a little bit. Space in Canada will start season two in early January. The season one cliffhanger is coming up this weekend I think if you haven't seen it.

For amusement, another Top Ten TV Show list, this one from MSNBC.

No "24."
