2013 - Bouma, Ferland and Kulak all way down the list
2014 - Kulak and Ferland again, Jankowski
2015 - Andersson, Kylington
2016 - Rittich, Hathaway, Fox
2017 - Hathaway, Kulak, Ruzicka
2018 - Lomberg
2019 - Lomberg, Wolf

the 2016 list is pretty interesting- I don't think the Flames would have been perceived- circa 2016- as have a top 10 prospect pool (definitely not in the few articles I could retrieve)- but in there they end up with 2 I think it's fair to say superstars (Tkachuk, Fox- ok pick your superlative- elite players), 2 other 'top half of roster' guys- Andersson, Mangiapane, a bunch of other NHL regulars (your opinion may vary on these, but some of whom may still end up if not top of roster- middle of roster- players) Kylington, Dube and then Kulak, Rittich, Hathaway, Jankowski, etc. heck even Bubba Phillips!
the Flames had a good prospect pool in 2016- it just wasn't entirely obvious (outside of Tkachuk) in 2016 who they were

Went Kuznetsov . He Suniev and Solovyov are my next 3 grouping I think, and I realize Kuznetsov may end up the least inspiring of the 3. On the other hand, while his trajectory is super weird , he also checks a lot of conventional boxes you might see in a on the radar prospect- 2nd rounder, Memorial Cup experience, U20 experience, played on a good AHL team at 20 etc

Ilya Solovyov was better than both Poirier and Kuznetsov for long stretches last year, so I went with him.

Went with Kuznetsov. At this point in the rankings we're looking at everyday NHL types. Suniev can prove me wrong (and just may).

Suniev simply due to potential.
Next up will be going with Kuznetsov due to his little bust factor and solid defensive play.

At this point, I’m going more for the potential than a higher floor in Suniev

My prediction of the top 10 at this point
1 goalie
4 dman
5 forwards
That's a solid spread.

Kuz understandably doesn't get a lot of attention, but he's already very good. Going with him over Solovyov, but yeah both very steady.

For someone who hasn’t seen either, tell me more about Kuz vs Solo??
I do know that Kuz has pretty much zero offence, making it unlikely he will ever be in the NHL without another elite skill.

Acknowledging that there is a very wide floor/ceiling, I went with Stromgren. A big body that looks ready to come to NA and make an impression.

I know he isn't a prospect anymore, but how did those three compare to DeSimone last season? Just looking at the simple stats, DeSimone looks like he might have been the best defenseman on the Wranglers, which makes me wonder if those three aren't as good or better than DeSimone (likely a career tweener at this point), how close can they actually be to becoming NHL players.
I barely watched any full Wranglers games, that's why I am asking. I know the simple stats aren't a complete picture, especially for guys like Solovyov and Kuznetsov who aren't offensive guys.

Yeah I'm confused why Kuznetsov is being rated as a top option here. Much more intriguing players left.
From what I've seen of him at Wranglers games he is playing down the lineup. If people care so much about defense, take Solovyov, who was always the better defender when I see the team live.
