I'm guessing the main reason Conny seems to be more inclined to sign Lindholm vs. trade him is that he knows what folks in here are worried about. The return he'll get in trade, is not going to be as valuable as keeping the asset.
I'm guessing if Conny was really excited about the potential return we'd be hearing more about movement vs. the "trying to sign, not in a rush". Theoretically this is likely the best time to trade Lindholm, but if they offers aren't as good as what that "theory" would expect, it's back to trying to sign him or not rushing because maybe the price will go up (or at least not get any worse) in the future as other key deadlines approach.
