I don't think any of the teams you listed are going to be offering 1sts for our guys though

Honestly the biggest blow was losing Johnny for nothing and having to get rid of Tkachuk as he was entering his prime. These other pieces can GTFO if they want. Damage was already done and half of these guys are closer to the back nine of their career anyways.

Time for a fresh start.

Trade em all. This organization needs to start thinking long term instead of constantly throwing band aids on problems and mortgaging the future. Sucks for season ticket holders but this club needs a full rebuild and now it's being forced on them.

10 picks probably wouldn't be enough let alone 4 mid-late ones.

I hope some 15-25 drafting teams get starry eyed for Lindy and hanifin and offer picks in this draft. Pretty please.

Could even do sign and trades to boost value

This all leads to the big question as to what the heck was going on in this organization or dressing room to make everyone want to leave. I bet there is a better story out there that has not been told yet. A mass exodus does not usually happen without a really good reason.

I don't think I have EVER seen something play out like this before.

It is insane.

I love it. Their 2024 UFA class presents a unique opportunity, and I'm not sure the organization was ready to take advantage of it ... well, the players are pretty much forcing their hand here. Can't say I'm mad about this - the team kind of needs a reset button anyway, and the entertainment is great too. Love the chaos.

This just shows to me that Craig Conroy is sticking to his guns and not caving to the players unrealistic demands. If they don't want to be here at a reasonable number then they can beat it.

Man, even Love left. Just to add insult to injury.

What a day.

Huska can't be happy about this news after being excited with the potential of this group post-sutter.

I'll be honest, I feel no attachment to virtually any players on this team. It has no identity.

I wouldn't be sad to see everyone over 25 go.

So nobody wants to play with Huberdeau or Kadri?

Rock bottom should be within reach by 2025.

Treliving really left a mess behind him as he walked away. Feel a bit bad for Conroy, what a first month on the job. Exciting as a fan but managing that many trades with the amount of analysis that goes into each one these days has to be an insane amount of work

Now eat 2 mil of kadri's salary and offer him too.

He'll be begging for a taker at this point.

Thank God Treliving had enough foresight to lottery protect the pick going to Montreal.
