We promoted the last two head coaches from the AHL to assistants its probably time to take the plunge and go for it with Mitch Love.

Listening to Gilbertson and Steinberg yesterday and reading the article he wrote about him it does seem like he has all the attributes you want in a coach that can push guys but also relate to them.

Love is busy focusing on other things right now. I'm sure he won't want to talk to anyone until after the playoffs are over. Even the Flames.

They could always promote Love to AC right away, with a possibility of a further promotion. Plenty og GMs put up with existing coaches being assistant or even associates.

Well, if the Jack Adams curse is real then he’ll be fired a year or two after winning it and then the Flames can hire him afterwards

starting to feel like we should just go Conroy/Love already and get on with the team decisions. The way things have been presented regarding the two of them it seems like a necessary step at this point.
Next year is on the players anyway and is there really anybody else out there that seems like the right fit at this time?

Most of us just have no idea what you’re talking about. Which posters are the ones who speak for me? Just trying to keep tabs on which ones are the “board opinions” so I know what to say when asked questions elsewhere.

The part I'm wondering is how much of Love's success is also due to Wolf being absolutely dominant. How would the team be doing if they didn't have a goalie that was lights out every game?
