Mistake not to start on the road in this series.

In the first series I kind of get it. You're the heavy favourite, so you bank on winning both at home and then just needing one on the road.

But when it's the top 2 teams in the league you have to bank on a split at home and then you need 2/3 on the road. I think you take the extra home game in this scenario where it going 5 is the most likely scenario.

Has Wolf ever been pulled from a game in his pro career?

He was pulled from his very first pro start.

And also his very first start of this season.

Wranglers mailing it in tonight. They look like a bad Flames team. Stupid penalties, horrible defensive coverage and a goalie that can’t stop a beach ball.

Could be a very short series. Sure glad I decided to get the AHL pass today.

Brutal effort tonight. Even dumber decision to do 2 games back to back at home.

Just a horrible decision really.

Not fatal obviously but sometimes you just need to do the math. Three games is more than two.

If their defence plays like that the rest of the series they’ll only have to pay for one night of hotels in Coachella.

Looked like beer league hockey on D.

Wranglers were 3 and 1 this season in CV barn but 1 and 3 at home so maybe this is why they decided to only play 2 in Cgy.

Psychologically I think starting on the road concedes you think this will go five games. Because that’s the only way it’s an advantage.

Get the split tonight and then go win the series on the road. Rinse and repeat.

P.S. I saw Mitch Love this morning at Safeway. Didn’t talk to him but hopefully what was in his cart will be good luck for tonight.

Much better start than last game, Pelletier/Phillips/Jones with some good chances.
