I have a huge soft spot for Gio and Brodie, but all that is gone in this series.

Panthers ride momentum to a win in 6 games...maybe.

Both teams lucked out in the OT lottery, so I predict another close series with multiple OT games. And I hope the Panthers will prevail

Brodie + Giordano > Tkachuk + Bennett

Go Leafs!

Yep. The Panthers just beat Boston in Boston in game 7. And it was a comeback win. There not going to be just a doormat here.

It’ll come in handy next year, and the year after, and the year after.

Yeah, normally wouldn't cheer for the Leafs but #### Tkachuk.

I feel like people are so shocked that Florida won, they're forgetting that Florida didn't just win... they came back from a 3-1 series deficit to win.

Florida beats Toronto's ultimate playoff nemesis, and the Leafs also do the same for the Panthers. One would think the winner of this series has the ultimate momentum from all the demons slayed

1996 (FLA) and 2002 (TOR) are the last years these teams won a second round series.

Leafs in 7

Whoever wins this series will probably make it to the finals though

The clouds parted for the Leafs (and the Oilers), but I think the Leafs take it to the Panthers and beat them easily in 4 or 5.

I can’t see the logic in counting out the Panthers. Did people not watch that series? They made the best team in the league look pedestrian and it was not just goaltending.

Yeah Panthers could be a problem now that they’re starting to get that swagger.

I don't which way this will go. Both teams come into the second round riding a big high from remarkable wins. It should be great hockey.

It kinda was...Bruins were absolutely dominant in game 5 but goaltending cost them
