There's a 25% probability that the Playoffs end with either the Leafs or the Oilers hoisting the cup according to many probability sites so I'm basically fans of any of the 14 teams who may end up playing those teams.

Avs and Bruins for me. It seems like both teams are weirdly under the radar, as defending champ and record breaking regular season squad respectively. Way too much Oiler and Leaf talk, so I am hopeful those teams take care of business.

What happens to Sportsnet if it's a Leafs-Oilers Final?

I imagine it would be nothing but panelists and reporters bawling uncontrollably with happiness whenever Dear Leader is present. No PBP or analysis. Just bawling like babies.

I actually don't watch the playoffs once the Flames are out. I have zero interest in watching another team win. I'll check the scores and stuff, and maybe watch a few highlights if there is something intriguing being talked about. I'd rather spend more time with my family than watch random teams play for the Cup. I will be rooting for whatever team is playing against the Oilers, but that is about it.

Whomever plays the Oilers. Once the Oilers are out I can break from hockey until next season.

New Jersey with their young stars for me, though admittedly once the Flames are done my interest in the league drops dramatically.

Islanders as it's my dad's team (who got me into hockey/sports), so I've always had a soft spot for em. But I'm not expecting them to really go anywhere.

That and whoever is playing the Greasers. Have to admit, I don't have a tonne of excitement for this year's playoffs though.

Each to their own, but I don't get the people who tune out when the Flames are done. I love the Flames but I also like hockey. I'll watch every game I can as the playoffs are where its at if you enjoy hockey.
Bruins, Panthers, Kings, Avs, although not a real fan of any of them, just looking for entertaining sports watching.

Yes indeed, I have a tendency to choose teams with limited success, hence a life long Flames fan. But, I will never not be a Flames fan, regardless. But, I love hockey, so even if the Flames are not in the post season, Ill still enjoy watching.

I expect it would be tonnes of Toronto-centric media hyping up the Matthews vs. McDavid matchup that results in Oiler nation who due to their inferiority complex derived from living in a place that can only drive positive self-esteem from a hockey team, being completely offended that McDavid the, second coming of Gretzky, is even being compared in the same soundbyte to a player as lowly as Austin Matthews.

I know this won’t be a popular choice, but Leafs for me. Once they’re gone I’ll likely just stop watching.

Personally I only got into the sport through the Flames, and while I appreciate the good players and teams around the league, when there's no emotional connection I don't have a love of hockey to fall back on.

But then I didn't grow up in Canada.

I'm usually like this too. I think the fact the West seems to be pretty wide open and a possibly fairly manageable path for the Greasers is causing me some indigestion towards this year's playoffs. If they get bounced early again, my interest would probably go up. But I have no desire in listening to NHL broadcasters drool all over the glitter twins for the next month plus.

I don't know if I will follow a specific team, but I'll tune in and see who is playing and watch if the game is intriguing or being played well.
