Looking at the schedule, it isn't that far fetched.
If they get going, they could put up something like an 8-3-1 or 7-3-2 record in March, and a 5-1 type record in April is there for the taking. That would mean 13-6-2 to finish, which might be enough.

Yeah with the deadline done and the team still having a 1st and 2nd (yippee!) I'm firmly in "what the hell lets some win some games!" mode.
The Oilers thumping the Jets last night pretty much makes it a Calgary/Nashville/Winnipeg battle.
Calgary with the 3rd easiest schedule, Jets 12th toughest and the Predators right in the middle.
Hopefully the Jets sputter and make it a 13-7 type finish target as 15-5 is pretty steep.

Well our own players couldn't get in the lineup with this coach so grabbing guys from other teams mid season I thought they would get the same treatment of watching first.
