I wish I read faster. Not that it's really a skill I need, but I always thought it'd be nice to read really fast.

Fortitude - the meaning of life, the universe and everything is fortitude.
Mediate - He at a cow, beef was the mediate.
Pendantic - You bught your dog an old dog bed, now he has pendantics.
Venal - I like Venal seeds in my cooking,
Nascent - tis expensive eglish? no, it's nascent.
vim - she and vim are a couple.

I'm surprised this hasn't been said already, but writing (anything... like a diary, or even this message board) on a consistent basis will make you a faster reader.

Conversely, reading more will make you a better writer.
