I know Reg is kidding but this is great example of a player making it impossible to send him down...Duehr was close before and I fully expect him to be back up with the team shortly.

Maybe we're seeing a "kinder, softer" Darryl?

Yeah some of the Darryl quotes since last game have looked jarringly out of character
maybe he's decided to play supportive uncle card now

Taking a while to get to 5000

Folks on here mocked the idea that Darryl had been given a talking to, but honestly it wouldn't surprise me if thats exactly what happened following Pelletier numbergate.

I don't know what a dog fight fort is but it sounds serious.

Sogaard is huge and covers a lot of net. I think there are going to have to try something more than just peppering him with low quality shots.

Goals off the rush please and Ty; it was so refreshing to see the forwards moving through the neutral zone with speed and attacking the offensive zone on the rush against buffalo. They need to be careful with Ottawa as they play a north south style with little concentration on overall team D so a track meet like game is possible if we trade rushes with them. If we can remain more stable than them on D and pounce on break downs that will lead to odd man’s I think it should be a ‘put in the win column’ game but don’t take the Sens lightly, especially their offensive prowess.

I know I'm not the first to mention this

Ottawa is starting their 3rd(?) string goaltender tonight. So.. 45 save shutout? Boy, would I love the Buffalo game to be a turning point, but this team is so all over the place it's hard to say what's going to happen.
For any other team this seems like it should be a win, which seems to spell disaster.
