Also good to see Pelts get his first. Hopefully first of many in a Flames uniform.

Speaking of unis, that was a great game to watch due to the threads both teams worn today.

I’m so happy rn. Marky really needed this one.

Tough shots to stop on the first two but boy did the big man bounce back.

So this team can play this way in front of him. Let’s keep it going boys. GFG

1030am games every Saturday! (Ok, maybe 1115 start times given the first period).

I'm really happy for Pelletier and his family. His goal started the roll!

Sure seem like the game was going to end much differently after the first period. Markstrom finally gets a win, but with once again setting the team back with goals against early on the shot count, can really keep starting him? It's important that the goalie can allow their team to get their skates under themselves for the first period. The goalie is the one who needs to be the most prepared to start games.
You also cant ask ypur goalie to be Hasek at the start of every game because the team in front of you is napping.

Its about shot quality, not quantity that should be looked at. Markstrom is toutinely left out to dry on most of his goals. Breakaways, odd man rushes, deflections. He isnt getting beaten by bad shots very often

I will nominate my GT first period post for the wall:

“Maybe the forwards could score a ####ing goal.”

Great game, I thought Huby looked quite dominant today, so many great passes. Could have easily had 5 assists today

Flames needed a win like that. Buffalo coming off a break with a 12:30 local start played heavily into the Flames favor and they took full advantage. Hopefully that can be a confidence builder. The next 5 games are winnable followed by 4 tough games before the deadline.

I have been on the he is terrible bandwagon but he looked dangerous this game. Hopefully Pelletier keeps rolling with that line
