I still want to see Dube with Huberdeau, and think we need to give Lindholm and Huberdeau another look at some point here.

Agree with this. I don't want to break up the MBC line when they are playing so well together.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Sweden produces fantastic all-around hockey players? Ras can do it at both ends of the ice. Lindy had a Selke level season last year. Backs has always just done his business so responsibly and reliably, especially defensively.

The old top line, last year vs this year
Spoiler!

Looking like Elias was riding the coattails of the other two. Not necessarily a knock on him, more that the other two are truly superstars who can elevate others.

Other forwards
Spoiler!

Lucic blows. Backlund could be a late offensive bloomer, which I've tried to convince people of. His 5on5 xG is similar to the top top guys. Constantly creating chances. Huberdeau sure is working on his D. It sucks for this year. In an optimistic lens, if you view this as an 8 year investment, it can pay off if he becomes an elite two-way forward in the future.

Defense
Spoiler!

No standouts. Zadorov possibly the Flames best defender this year. Weegar will be fine.

I actually added the link. You can set the team to the Flames, and situations to 5 on 5 for example. Then you have columns like On-Ice Expected Goals %, and Off-Ice Expected Goals %, and Relative Expected Goal %. It gives a pretty good idea of how the team is doing with/without the player.
