Sure. 9th in the Conference right now by points and points percentage. We start playing a little better then that should be the goal.

Divisional spot at least should be the goal...its just as close as a Wild Card and an easier matchup than WC2
main point is their are 5 playoff spots available to the Flames within 6 points
they have games in hand on two teams in divisional spots

It's fine to dream about first place if you want. Flames are on pace for 93 points. Since the NHL went to its current structure in 2013, no team has won its division with less than 100 points in a full season. That seems like way too much ground for this team to make up, and too many teams to pass. It would be sweet though, better go on a heater soon.
95/96 points seems like an achievable goal for this team, which should be good enough for the second wild card. Much less and you are relying on the OOT scoreboard.

Kings didn't win the conference when they went all the way

I said divisional spot...Flames are 5 points back of a divisional spot with 2 games in hand
2/3 seed is very obtainable

I didn’t quote you so not sure why you’re raising that point with me. Now I believe a month ago one of your arguments was Flames were within 2 points of last year’s team. No one seems to bring that up anymore.
The Flames are where they are. 93 point pace, fighting for a wild card spot. If they play just a little better, then yeah you can look at a division spot. If they go on cold streak, then it’s a serious uphill battle.
If I had to make a prediction they finish around 95 or 96 points, a not insignificant improvement from their current pace that should get you a wild card spot.

Well you posted it right after my post so I assumed..I'm not sure how you can't see "fighting for the last wild card spot" as overly negative though
30 games and 5 spots within six points...they are fighting for all those spots.
How is what was said a month ago relevant? They were 2 points off the pace a month ago, now they aren't. They also won the division with 111 last year, this years winner will likely have less than that.
Not sure why you have to fight me on everything guy...Flames are 5 points back of the Kings who are in the 3rd seed and the Flames have two games in hand. They are certainly in that race.

They have to start finishing games though. They still control their destiny.

4 up on Nashville
Head to heads with all of them except the Oilers including 2 with Minny
Flames need to be ahead of any two of these teams...their position isn't as bad as some people think

12 points back of the Stars with 2 games in hand for 1st place in the conf.
7 points back of the Jets with a game in hand
9 points up on the Blues
Head to head with the Stars
one game against the Jets
no games against the Blues

Yep, in 2012 and 2014.
