oh for sure the situation is far from ideal, but it sort of explains how this team can be 'essentially' a league average offence despite no 20 goal scorers and a few of our counted on weapons on pace for about 16 goals each- so at least we have some of our shlubs putting pucks in to balance out the meh top end
so in the last bit of the season does the top of the roster pick it up and then the production for the mid-bottom is nice bonus, or does the top keep spinning their wheels and the bottom dries up? (or both/neither)
as pointed out right above me though, some of it of course relates to the way icetime is deployed on this Flames iteration
