Bad karma for the Islanders as they lose to the Leafs. It all started with the Islanders not wearing their regular uniforms on Sat. night when they played the Hurricanes as the Isles honoured alumni players in the team's past 50 years. Those players were wore the white jerseys. What did the current Islander players wear? The ugly fisherman jersey. Yuck and it went downhill from there. The Isles lose their second straight game by the same score of 5-2, Sororkin in net for both losses, and their PP goes 0/2 in both games.
Good to see the veteran Craig Anderson playing well in net for the Sabres. He made 29 saves in the Sabres OT win. The eastern conf. better watch out, Buffalo is in a 3 way tie for 9th place and just 3 points back of the 8th place Penguins. Pavelski has 2 assists for the Stars.
The Rangers beat the Panthers with Zibaneajad, Panarin, and Fox each with 3 points.
