Solid contract. Produced at college, produced at the AHL level and in his second year as a pro (in his sophomore slump season) he is on pace for 24 goals and 33 assists for 57 points playing on the second line and not seeing barely anytime with Kaprizov. Suspect this contract looks real good in about 2 years.
Love this player, and this is a solid move for them, as this contract will look like a steal in a few years. Big, good skater (not a burner), gets his nose dirty, plays any kind of game. He's a good all-around player with skill and vision.
