The linesman Dan Kelly was an AHL hack who leveled a disgusting hit against Andreas Johnsson in the playoffs. He was suspended 10 games.
VIDEO
When they met up the following year Rich Clune destroyed him in a fight so I wonder if this meathead holds a grudge.

Clearly you have an agenda, so I'll leave you to it.

Maybe, but to me the linesman was a total jerk there. You can’t rough up players.

So would it be ok for players to start shoving officials?

It's 100% in the procedures and how you are taught.
Both feet off the ice and if the player comes back on he gets penalized as leaving the bench/returning to the ice.
Not exactly sure how that makes it a "ridiculous take" but hey, what do I know?

Very little if you think that is how a linesman should act.

Been on the ice a lot more than you have.

Very little if you think that is how a linesman should act. Do you really think that overt physicality is how they are taught?

Getting physical no, getting the player off the ice? 100%
Was the linesman frustrated? 100%
I never said he was right to get physical, I absolutely said that's the reason why he got him off the ice.
Is that classic enough for you?

It was 4-0 for Seattle after forty minutes. The Blues were trying to make a comeback with a pair of goals in the third period, but, Tanev just scored an empty net goal. It is now 5-2 Kraken.
