I watched with 3 canucks fans. They were all shocked at how boring our top 6 is.

There's something about OT and shootouts that seem to bring out the worst in the Flames.

Biggest issue I find is that this group isn’t likeable. Just a very boring and dull iteration of the Flames. Not much excites me while watching them and I really don’t care when they win or lose.

I am speechless. They mustn't be sick enough of losing yet.

This team isn't going anywhere they are just not a well constructed team, nor do they have enough skill. I don't even think they're one player away, they're just a disjointed mess.

anti clutch

you can't make every goalie under the sun constantly look superior to your goalies (which most of the time, they are not)

this team finds a way

Backlund and dube in shootout? It's like Sutter is trying to lose

Bedard please

Markstrom is probably the worst shootout goalie we’ve ever had. He backs up so far and plays so small. I’m amazed he finally did a poke check.

Backlund has like what, one career shootout goal ..EVER? Try some wild horses like Ruzicka/Zadorov. Heck, even Lewis has surprisingly decent hands in tight.

At least Sutter isn't doing something silly like adjusting their style of play to the assets on the team. There is one way to win, the Flames will win playing that way or not at all.

Huberdeau was particularly terrible tonight.

Vladar wins that game 3-2. Markstrom is again the second best goalie on the ice.

Without Gaudreau it feels like we may never score in OT again.

Markstrom... just bench him against all Canadian teams.

Man, if it wasn’t obvious that this team lacks offensive skill and finish, it was on full display tonight. The OT and shootout in particular, just nothing there.

That game was just kind of boring.. I turned it on late and saw Garland score. Nice that the Flames tied it up, but outside of some sloppy structure, I found it quite dull.

The Flames are not interesting this year.
