Too many penalties and 5 GAA doesn’t cut it.

Take the point on the road in the east but by god.... What an incredible waste at getting 2 points after a fairly good effort

That's on coaching. Sutter is not doing a good enough job in enforcing discipline from his players. It's occurring far too much to be coincidental.

New core, new coach, same old Flams!

I thought Phillips was real decent. He is light on his feet, fell down a pile, but he did a bunch of good work, didn't look out of place, and honestly brings some skating to a team in desperate need of that.

Zohorna's a nice addition too, size and some grit and a net presence.

I honestly have no idea what's wrong with the defense or the transition system, what the hell is going on in the Flames zone. Just getting eaten.

And yeah... I mean... Huberdeau... time to do something positive, dude. Anything at all.

regardless of the flames discipline, Toronto should have been shorthanded 4 times at least by the same "measure" used tonight on the Flames

Whine about the refs all you want, moronic penalties sank this team.

Can't call the hook on Lindholm with 30 seconds left because they can't hurt the Leafs going into OT. So sick of garbage like that. After all the brutal calls this game.

Flames played good I thought. Huberdeau needs to watch his Damn stick in OT.

Huberdeau is trending towards one of the worst contracts in the league. Sloppy play in OT cost the team. He was absolutely invisible all game and has been since the start of the season. Need more from our “skilled” players.

Ah well. We all know the Leafs aren’t ever making it past the first round. Easy solace.

It seems the Flames can’t play from behind or with the lead these days. Pathetic

PK was garbage
PP was garbage
Goalie was ok? Wasn’t spectacular but not bad
Top line was bad
Kadri line was ehhhh
4th line was garbage
Backlund line idk because they didn’t have any ice time

Somehow got a point

I’m back to blow it up mode. I don’t think this team can beat anyone over a seven game series right now. Hanifin/Tanev/Toffoli, get something for these guys before they’re UFAs. Lindholm could bring a haul too.

You can't predict penalties. Flames were in it against a good team and got an important point.

Phillips was good!
