He’s also done similar stuff to Quick specifically before. I recall him grabbing his helmet and ripping it off. But he wasn’t looking so it was clearly accidental…

He also has a tell, since when does Tkachuk skate away from the net front on his own like that?

that's 100% intentional . the stick sneaking back in after the first tap is so obvious .. he's sneaky to look away while doing it but was caught red handed here

Exactly this. He's always scrumming it up in the front of the net, then when he does something like this he's pretending to be nonchalant and casual

Tkachuk has a history with the Kings in general.
He’s been on them his entire career, all the Poughty incidents etc.
Heck he even got under Iginlas skin when he was still a king lol.

But this is bad, he’s gotta stop the out of line crap like this he coulda hit Quicks eye.

Mind you, I didn’t appreciate Benn’s bull#### in the playoffs either and he got off easy.

Yeah, this was insane. $5K fine for doing that !@#$ to Mang? Where was everyone losing their minds on that? Nowhere to be found.

I think it's losing Gaudreau that's caused the Flames more problems.

Uhhhh dude everyone thought this play was insane. The NHL drops the ball all the time. It doesn’t mean that future events of similar nature should also avoid appropriate punishment. You got Tkachuk in your pool or something?

I agree that this is 100% a multi game suspension, what I find hard to believe is how some posters and some fans now have a severe case of dementia when it comes to Chucky. He does this dirty stuff all the time and pushes the envelope significantly all the time. That's his thing and he did it very well in Calgary, a lot of fan's just turned the other way since it was OUR player. When other teams and fan's called him dirty and garbage player, we said he was passionate and worse his emotions on his sleeve.

I have always tried to be a consistent and level headed fan no matter what team it is and I love how people change their tune for their own team and players.

Nobody noticed when he was here. What he doesn't realize is that the eastern teams are followed much more closely especially for antics like this.

Obviously intentional, I agree that him skating away casually was as much a tell as anything.

Also, 9 times out of 10 it’s just a jab at his mask just to screw with him. This time the blade went through the cat-eye cage and probably caught Quick near the eye (fortunately it wasn’t worse than what it was).

Because trades are decided after 10 games

I'm glad the Flames have Weegar right now considering how the D looks at the moment

Florida has also played 3 teams that made the playoffs last season and lost them all

He's going to get games for that one. That was cheap and dangerous.

Incoming 2 game losing streak for the Panthers.

Doesn't bother me at all, he deserved that, if not more.

Despite Tkachuk being in my username, I was never enamoured with this type of crap in his game. Unless it was against Kassian.
