Couldn't stand Bieksa the player. Bieksa the broadcaster is gold.

Yeah it's universal it seems in Vancouver. Anyone I meet who finds out I'm a hardcore Flames fans will always poke fun at me and talk #### but always, always feels the need to tell me how they love Iginla. Iginla in his heyday may have been the most popular hockey player in Canada coast to coast. I've lived in a few cities from Ottawa to Toronto and the 100% positive comments and admiration for our captain back then was consistent.

Not me. I hated Bieksa when he was a Canuck. Love him as an analyst.

Bieksa has definitely grown on me as an analyst but I still think he'd be a complete jerk of a person.
Kesler is another level though, he's just a complete prototypical "hockey culture" jock moron.

Kesler is a tool and an embarrassment to the game of hockey. So glad hes gone from the league.
Jarome Iginla rules.

Just want to say - Jarome Iginla is still the best Calgary Flame to ever put on the jersey. What an absolute hero of a man.

Gotta say watching that Iggy fight got me fired up, what a beast of a player! Kess wasn’t lying either, if Iggy connected in that 2nd last haymaker it would have been devastating for him.

I can’t watch Iginla fights and sit still. I’m twitching, and smiling, making noises and uncontrollable laughing “oh!!!”’s, and doing mini fist pumps like a little kid watching the most exciting thing he’s ever seen.
The Kessler one is up there. The Guerin fight is my favourite.

Kesler is literally one of my most hated players of all time. He played for a team I still think tops the list of most hated teams which is the 2011 Canucks. I was a far more emotional fan in my 20’s so the Flames winning or losing would personally affect my mood. The Flames seemed to kind of be neck and neck or ahead with the Canucks in the 06-09 time frame and fell off the next several years when the Canucks rose to the top of the league. I hated the fans and that team so much and it is a toss up if it is Kesler or Burrows I hated more.
Kesler finding his way onto the Ducks who was the team the young Flames could never seem to get past (or even be close to) adds to the hate. He gets a couple of points for the controversial goal against the Oilers in 2017 but still hate that guy.
Bieksa is the type of guy I hate when he is not on my team but would have loved as a Flame and I think he has transitioned nicely to the analyst role and enjoy him on the HNIC panel
