Luckily Treliving was able to avoid the disaster Johnny started in motion with his dummy move.

As a long term Flames fan, it's nice to see what looked at first to be a disaster turned into a blessing in disguise. We all know as Flame fans we haven't the best of luck.

CBJ is in a terribly difficult division and going to lose a lot of games. I can't see Gaudreau getting close to the playoffs any season soon. Ah well

I am a huge Johnny fan. Don’t hate him for leaving. Having watched the last 2 Columbus games and without my homer glasses or perhaps now I am bias, we can’t win with a tiny player on the first line. When games get tight it’s not possible for him to win a board battle. He always shies away. Don’t get me wrong he is super talented but it’s a player best put on a second line as a 7m contract. I apologize if this is off topic.

Flames were planning to turn Gaudreau into more of a secondary player before last season...but when their line started scoring like that what do you do

Remember when Flames fans were livid they gave Gudbranson 1.95x1
how about more than double the money and 4x the term lol

I agree, you are absolutely correct. After his last season he deserves to be paid. In the end it would of been a disastrous contract. Not for a point total as he would continue to put up the points but for an overall compete level and a chance to go further into the playoffs.

woops! posted in the wrong GDT.
Jets win! Trouba take a dumb penalty!
And game winning goal, of course, goes to *checks notes* Sam Gagner? okay!

Haha I was born with a crazy sense of humor. Blame my parents. I enjoyed your comment even know some didn’t. And I agree that these digital ads are atrocious.

It is another low scoring affair in San Jose with the game tied 1-1 after forty minutes. Svechnikov has the lone goal for the Sharks. His brother has an assist on the Carolina goal. The Hurricanes have a 25-11 edge in shots.

Heartbreaker for the Sharks as Aho deflects a shot from Pesce with two minutes left in regulation time. That was the winning goal as Carolina wins 2-1. Reimer played very well in net in his return for the Sharks, 33 saves. Nice pregame tribute for Brett Burns who is now a Hurricane.

Gubby’s a great guy and he played well on the Flames in his limited time. But I’m definitely glad Brad wasn’t the one who gave him that 4mill cap hit
