The main reason to sign him would have been to shore up centre. That’s not really a priority at all now.

Yeah suffice to say at 1.5M for 1 year almost anyone except an absolute train wreck is worth the contract. There is almost zero risk in that contract from the teams perspective.

That was under the old CBA. The latest MOU allows the points to count.
