I guess the only silver lining might be if Mrazek can recover some trade value outside of TO (look what happened to Andersen). Though this CHI team doesn't look like a great place for a showcase.

This kind of trading up from 38 to 25 would probably have needed another pick in the 50s - no way anyone would give that up for Mrazek, but maybe CHI has a player they really want.

Mrazek is also owed $8.6M cash vs. his 7.6M total AAV remaining

Moreso hoping a second can used to drop down to dump Lucic's contract. He's a more serviceable player than Mrazek.

Man Mrazek, I remember when he broke out in Detroit he looked like a can't miss star goalie. Very inconsistent career so far.
