Lol, when it was the Flames playing on the edge, the panel couldn't stop pointing out everything that should have been a penalty. Now that the Oilers are playing straight up dirty, it's strategic and smart.

Ron MacLean is completely and utterly useless as an analyst. His takes are so Edmonton-centric that there is no way he should be on a national telecast.
Has he always been like this? I have no recollection of his hardcore boner for that garbage franchise.

Yes. Including looking forward to watching them win the cup. The fellation continued at every chance to compare old oilers teams and new.
If they couldn’t keep George strombolopolous they shouldn’t have given it back to Maclean.

Yes, but it's usually only a thing during the early parts of the season or the offseason as the Oilers usually aren't in the playoffs so it would be crazy for him to talk about them then
