Yeah, that's the thing that has allowed Ryan Lomberg to succeed in the NHL for sure ... he can fly. Phillips, Pelletier, and Duehr can really skate, although unfortunately Duehr doesn't offer much else.

I can see a future where Kirkland is able to keep up just fine. I can also see a future where he's too slow. Very curious to watch him in the preseason.

It would be good to see one of these guys come to camp and grab a job. Force themselves on to the team.
A lot of the guys who should be competing for a job haven't had those type of camps in recent years.

Give him a chance

2 fights, only one on video (he won). He's listed as 6'3" but only 183 lbs on db. That's skinny. Though AHL lists him at 205.

Could be a lot of journeymen on the market this summer, as many NA players are predicted to return from the KHL due to the geopolitical situation. Could be some interesting AHL-level or bubble players available.
