No offence but how is this even a question? Last year could have been 2004 and if the Lightning played the Oil in the final I'd 10000000000% support them.

How can this be a question... lightning have already won two straight and come on its Edmonton.

Oilers beating the Avs isn't gonna happen anyway

Do you really want to listen to two decades of crap talking from oilers fans (or at least until the Flames win a cup)? How is this even a debate?

Anyone but Edmonton, I don't care who the other team is.

The Lightning are not even in my bottom two. They've already won, I wouldn't care if they won again. I like that they ended the Maple Leafs and Panthers hype.

Preference for cup winners:
1. Avalanche
2. Lightning

3. DeAngelo/Fox

4. Oilers

Tampa wins the cup after the Oilers get a phantom goal that never gets reviewed to see if it was in or not

I recall a similar question 11 years ago like this being asked on CP. It was if the SCF was between the Canucks and Lightning. It nearly happened as the Bolts lost game 7 of the ECF to the Bruins.I'd pick the Lightning then and now. The Canucks are also a team many here dislike.

Isn't Brayden Point out for a while?

If a team is incredibly lucky, certain players get hurt, and gets a lot of calls their way anything can happen. Would anybody happen to know a real lucky team, who the NHL adores?

If any Flames fan supported the Oilers, I'd question their sanity.

Tampa, it is a better hockey town with more knowledgeable fans.

Why even contemplate this? Haven't we suffered enough?

Mentally and morally corrupt people, and/or haven't been in Calgary for more than a few years.

We're Flames fans. The Hockey Gods, NHL, and all the sports media have CLEARLY decreed we shall have everlasting, eternal suffering.

There is only one team in the league that I’d cheer for the Oilers over. And that team is the Vancouver Canucks.
