I wonder if Ruzicka draws in for his first bit of playoff action tonight. Wouldn’t mind some fresh blood in the forward core.

Flames have shown how porous the Oil defense is all season. Tonight is the time to do it again and show them who the better, balanced, and complete team is. Shutting down their top stacked line is a tough assignment but can be done to a point if they stick to their game plan that's had them successful all year.

Go Flames Go!

Last time the Flames won a playoff game in Edmonton was game 3 against Dallas but the last time they beat the Oilers in Edmonton in the playoffs this happened.....

Grab your snacks and get ready for the game!

Snacks are tastier when someone else is paying, but there's truth in the saying "nothing's for free". Greasy Gene is about to find this out:

(this one was actually written by my youngest. She's got good comedy instincts)

Spoiler!

Go Flames

I was thinking about this and wondering who. Would you drop Dube for a game and move Jarnkrok to left wing?

ARE YOU READY!!!! This game should be extra spicy.
Let's dictate the pace. Push the mute button on the Connor and scooter show.

Let's check check check for 60 .

Skate away from scrums, be better physically in front of Markstrom boxing out the filth.

I'm hoping Coleman get assigned to shadow McSaviour . Hopeful the fellas bring the filth back to reality. It's beat down time.

Win or lose, let's see the Flames that were dominant in games in the regular season. And get that 3000 year old goalie moving side to side so much, his groins get confused and give up. Go Flames Go!

Ritchie has been alright in the series, but I’d switch him out, if Ruzicka draws in.

Do or die again like against Dallas. Can't get outworked and outskated like in the last two games.

My expectations are pretty low for this one. Win or lose, I just want to see the team show some pride and put in a solid 60 minute effort. Stop letting McDoofus walk all over you.

Oilers and their fans are so annoying. I don't care how long of a run they go on this year. They're still hands down the most embarrassing franchise in pro sports. They sucked so hard for so long that they finally fluked out and were gifted that one player who could actually drag the rest of their garbage roster into the playoffs. Congrats, losers.

Here's hoping the Flames rip them a new one tonight and send them crashing back down to earth.

Its not do or die, but its such a pivotal game. Really have to show up for this one. I fully expect the Flames to bring their A game and if the Oilers can still beat them so be it. But it wont be the ass kicking we saw in game 3.

Go Flames Go!

This series is done in 5
In 2019 they did not have a system & it was very clear they were not the same as before All-star break.

I will cheer the Flames forever, but the 2019, 20, 21 teams were never going to make any progress in the playoffs.

This team if they get their act together in scoring can still make a hard run!

If not, it is year 2 of a learning process and next year they better make some noise if they re-sign Gaudreau.

Just keep playing your game. It worked on the team who’s starting goalie was the Ghost of the Goalie Future. We’re the better team.

Think Im in the same boat as everyone here.

We know the Flames can play their game and dominate the sh** out of the Oilers, but not the way they've been playing. Put up another stinker like games 2/3 and its over. Show up and play Flames hockey like we know it (and saw in a couple games vs Dallas) and we have a fighting chance.

I said the same thing before game 3 and wow, what a stinker. So preparing myself for more of the same tonight

This game is do or die.

You don't go down 3-1 in a series and come back...very,, very few have ever done that.

Edmonton deserves credit; they have been the better team the last 5 periods imo.

Calgary needs to find another gear...You can't get past the second round playing half assed or scared like Calgary is doing right now.

This game will tell us a lot about these players wrt playoff performances
