As happy as we all are to see the Oilers swept right out, don’t forget about Ben and his story.

Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive forms of cancer and is a devastating diagnosis for a child and their family. I personally lost my uncle to it about a decade ago and I remember first hand what this disease is like.

Please consider donating to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, a phenomenal organisation that helps kids like Ben in their recovery.

I do not like this story. No kid/family should ever have to face this.
I also do not like that I hate McDavid, Hyman, etc a bit less right now.

Having lost my wife and my mother to cancer and now having 2 children, I can barely even read this thread. Poor kid and parents to have to go through this.

I just wanted to add that, speaking from experience, having the Tom Baker center in Calgary is a wonderful thing and Calgarians are truly fortunate to have it. It sucks that places like that need to exist, but the nurses and the Doctors are all top notch. Alberta's Cancer treatment is all class.
