My wife bought a whole slew of diapers before our son was born. She would buy them on 10% tuesdays at Safeway. Her mom did the same for us. It helps to get hand me downs. If our nephew outgrows the size he is wearing we get the unused ones.

Happily, I'm out of the diaper stage as my boys are 7,5 & 3. My wife always sent me to Walmart for diapers, plus she would watch the flyers; occasionally, Superstore would have good prices.

Ahhh, the meconium poop!! Shortly after my oldest was born, I left the delivery room for a moment. When I returned, one of the nurses excitedly thrust a diaper laden with black, gooey crap practically into my face. She regretted it when I broke into dry heaves for about 20 seconds.
