Darn. Big loss. Minnesota is the most likely opponent in the Western Conference Finals according to MoneyPuck.

Flames would now lose home ice.

Game 80-82 is where sharty, non-playoff teams feast on resting playoff-bound teams and get their last little hurrah.

Flames were unquestionably better on the road than at home so its not an issue.

Also you're looking deep into your crystal ball there. That's a lot of what-ifs.

Finally got the last game over with and made it out with zero injures? That's a win, folks. Bring on the playoffs!

I don't see how it has cost them anything either. Since everyone has emerged healthy it really does not matter at all. It would have been fun for the young guys, but they have their own (hopefully) long playoff run to get ready for, so I doubt a novelty appearance in Game #82 would have made any difference for them either.

Would have been cool for Darryl to get that 700th win but other then that nothing of importance.

Why do playoffs gotta be so far away! Les go.

I thought since Johnny had more goals he technically finishes second. Not a big deal. Ha. I'm not dwelling on it or anything. Great season either way.

Tomorrow is the first Saturday without a Flames game since the All-Star break.

Weird. I have actually thought that most of the 82 Flames games this season were really good.

Nashville up 3-0 less than 3 minutes in.

Looks like it will be Catch a Predator time.

Reminder that we beat Vegas 7-1 in game 82 a few years ago, and then they went to the cup finals.

Looked like a team that just wanted the clock to run out. Bring on Nashville.

They definitely held back on a lot of physical play. Seemed like the first line barely got any ice time.

25-12-4 on the road.

Second best road record in the NHL.

Worriers worry!
