Mike Smith is 11-17 in the playoffs. In his last two appearances with Edmonton he's 0-5, and last year he was 0-4. Now that's not all of his fault. Really, its just that he plays for a completely dreadful team. But then again, most of the guys in the dressing room probably don't like him anyways.

Would have likely been the same fate against the Flames had they not decided to focus on Kolesar and throw the game away. Markstrom was dialed in, they had a good start, just had to stick to their game

OMG Oilers are 5 points back now! With the Flames having two in hand

Vegas isn't getting WC1 which IMO is still a good thing. They might yet put it all together when everyone is up to speed and R. Smith will certainly have a miraculous recovery if they make it. I still hope Vegas plays the Oilers round one despite this one game.
