Maybe I missed it…but a single point tonight or a Canucks loss should clinch a playoff spot?

I understand resting Kylington a bit more but why take Carpenter out?

To add to Cheese's response. If we get a point tonight and they win, the Canucks can mathematically end up with the same amounts of points, but we have more RW's. We win or they lose, they can't mathematically get the same amount of points as us. We don't clinch or eliminate them, but they can't catch us in these cases.

A Zadorov/Stone pairing is going to be an adventure.

Probably because they like either Lewis or Dube at centre, and for whatever reason don't want Carpenter on RW over Ritchie. Jarnkrok definitely playing centre, then.

certainly happy /assume they are not rushing anyone back in , but I'll be definitely more comfortable with Kylington and/or/eventually both Gudbranson back in over 3 currently in the lineup

Ya I was thinking maybe he likes Lewis at C and doesn’t see Carpenter as a RW..

Maybe against a NHL team, which they aren't facing tonight.

We are that time of year where you can't trust anything that comes out of Sutter's mouth with respect to injuries and why people aren't playing.

Rest, injury, illness, discipline, not playing well enough...who knows.

There were some CP posters that thought Seattle would finish higher than Calgary this season

There were some posters who wanted to give up on the Flames and walk around the dome with their Kracking jerseys...

Calgary has provided a #### ton for Seattle already

- their first ever trade
- their first ever Captain
- first NHL game for their first ever draft pick
