I’m guessing they wouldn’t announce contract extensions on a game day, since the players would normally be involved with the press conference. So likely not happy news.

Who will take Kylington’s spot? I doubt Sutter breaks up the third pair and Stone is a right shot like Tanev.

A presser (as opposed to media availability after practice) seems overkill even for a hockey related season ending injury tbqh. Seems more "urgent" than that.
