The Avs-Isles game had 85 shots, 49-36 in favour of the Avs, that's nuts. It was crazy considering that it was tied at 1-1 in the first period and into the 3rd and then 7 goals in the 3rd. It's too bad the Isles couldn't beat them, so close just like last Tuesday in Denver. Bummer for the Flames as the Avs are 12 points up on the 2nd place Flames in the western conf.
The Kings recovered from last week's loss by a touchdown to the Bruins in Los Angeles and get some revenge by beating them in Beantown. Nice GWG by Athanasiou on a breakaway.
To no surprise, the Sabres suck. The Panthers mauled them going 5/5 on the PK and 2/3 on the PP.
The Leafs defensive and goaltending struggles continue, but, they escape with a win in reg time. I wonder if Mrazek will get consecutive starts in net?
