Ah, but you see, that's part of the conspiracy on why the Flames are finding success this season - because they are in so many prime time spots, the league has had to do everything they can to make the Flames successful.

Nick Schmaltz deserves way more respect than he gets. Might be the most underrated player in the NHL.

Brassard gets one through a leaky Lankinen, tied at 3 in Philly...Schmaltz was one of Stan Bowman's moves that hasn't quite worked out. Schmaltz for Perlini and Strome...'Hawks are still waiting on Strome to blossom, and he has been rumored as being shopped. Perlini is long gone.

Given how little recent history there is between Chicago and Philly, this game is more chippy than most 'Hawk games I've watched. Of course, Ristolainen has taken some cheap shots at DeBrincat.

They do look good, but remind me of Isles' colors.

Atkinson walks right though the pathetic 'Hawk D for his 2nd of the game...4-3 Philly.

Connaughton down for the Flyers', looks like ankle, he couldn't put weight on that leg to even get up.

The Coyotes had a 4-0 lead in the second period and then the Senators turned it on. Ottawa scored 3 goals in 2:12, Parker Kelly has two goals, and it is now 4-3 Coyotes late in the second period.

the Jones Bros get some quality time in the Penalty box together, with Murphy. But, the 'Hawks end up with a PP as Lindblom drew blood with the high stick on Seth.

Prime time in the east, not in the Mountain and Pacific time zones. These early starts do lower the audience ratings for the western home team.

'Hawks manage to pull the goalie, and get a Too Many Men with SEVEN guys on the ice. This team is a wreck,

The Islanders start the OOT helping out the western conference playoff race. They defeated the Blues 2-1 in regulation. Sororkin had his shutout bid spoiled with under three minutes left in the game.

Poor goaltending, wretched Defense, and turnovers, lead to a 4-3 loss to Philly.

Wow, the Senators come out full of adrenaline to start the third period and score two more goals 61 seconds apart! It is now 5-4 Ottawa.

Nick Schmaltz with 5 points today and it’s 6-5 Yotes in the 3rd with lots of time left on the clock.
