Ive watched them a ton this year. They are a friggin juggernaut.
Huge streak in January but then went on a win 2 lose 2 run before a mini streak lately (until they met the mighty Coyotes).

That said, since 2022 their schedule has been pretty easy, just looking at it. In terms of opposition.

I hope the Flames punish them physically every chance they get. We have to set the tone early and often.

Hopefully they come out flying after that Montreal game.
Go Flames!

Great, as always, but I was confused about this. This is not a Division matchup, and the Flames are 15-8-3 v. the West.

Huge measuring stick game. If the Flames can stay focused and bring their A game, I think they’ll be able to hang with the Avs and it’ll be a close 1 goal contest.

If Calgary plays undisciplined and makes the kind of defensive gaffes we saw against the Habs, it’ll be a long night.

Both teams were probably guilty of looking ahead to this game on Thursday. Win or lose, I want to see the game that the Flames have played 95% of the time and see how it stacks up. If they can play with Colorado, it's time to start thinking of the team as a Stanley Cup contender.

The Flames actually won their last game v. Colorado 5-4 in OT, and it was played in Denver.

At the end of the day it’s only a regular season game worth two points, just like the others.

But hopefully we see the Flames play to their identity, and how that matches up against the Avs. Looking forward to a bounceback game from Markstrom as he wasn’t great on Thursday.

If they play like they did against Montreal it will be ugly. Hopefully Zadarov lines up a few Avs

I'll be at the game in Denver next Sunday w some Avs fans.... really hoping they take it to the Avs tonight and get in their heads! These games are a chance at redemption and to flip that '19 script around, as I was there for game 4 and it was a kick in the junk that still stings.

Agreed. But that probably goes the same for the Avs in regards to their loss to the bottom-feeder Yotes the other night. At least the Flames got a point.

Kadri took full advantage of Mackinnon being out. He stepped it up, to his credit.
